Hydrangea quercifolia 'Oak-Leaved Hydrangea'
Common Names: Hydrangea

Description:
The oakleaf hydrangea is one of the best of all shrubs in the garden. It is tough, hardy, and tolerant of shade; has large, rough, oak-shaped leaves that give an interesting texture in the garden; bears large panicles of white flowers in early summer when not many other shrubs are in flower; then flowers turn a soft creamy-white tinged with pink and look good well into the fall; and, to top it all off, the leaves turn deep maroon in the fall.
