   Noble Fir is one of the largest true first of Northwest Pacific coast region. Dark gray brown and smoothish, becoming brown to red brown, furrowed and broken into irregular scaly plates. Needles of lower branches flat and of top branches 4-angled, 1 - 1 1/2 inches long blue green.
