Description:
   Cornus alternifolia Pagoda has long, slender branches in horizontal tiers create a layered look found in few other trees. A fine North American native, Pagoda blooms in late May and early June in round, open, 2 1/2 inch cymes with many small, creamy colored flowers. The delightful blooms are succeeded by red-stemmed clusters of berry-like fruits.

The trees are famous for their showy spring flowerheads, excellent summer foliage, brilliant fall leaf color and handsome fruit all on lovely branching form. And their bloom is magnificent! In mid summer, they produce an incredible bounty of flowers.
