Viburnum acerifolium 'Mapleleaf'
Common Names: Viburnum

Description:
Viburnum acerifolium Mapleleaf is an understory shrub found in dry woods from New Brunswick to Minnesota south to North Carolina. Consequently it is a good choice for dry soils in deep shade. Fortunately, it will also thrive in moist soils and the full range of light conditions, sun to shade.A low growing shrub, 4-6 feet tall and 3-4 feet wide. The maple shaped leaves turn a dusky rose purple in autumn that looks particularly fine next to the black fruits.
