Epimedium rubrum 'Sweetheart' Common Names: Barrenwort

Description:

This Darrell Probst hybrid much-improved version of the typical E. x rubrum. Sweetheart has much better foliage ,larger and darker green, which is fully evergreen, even in the North. In spring the new leaves are heavily flushed with red, creating a stunning show. Above the foliage are the flower stalks that present clusters of scrumptious bright pink flowers.
