Athyrium hybrid 'Ghost'
Common Names: Fern

Description:
The Ghost Fern is a vigorous and easy-to-grow hybrid of the Japanese painted fern and Southern lady fern. It combines the best features of both parents. The result is a rigidly upright fern with silvery grey foliage.

Recommendations:
The attractive foliage and shape of this fern provide color, contrast and texture to the border or woodland garden when massed or planted as specimens. Also may be massed in moist soils near ponds or streams

We like to use it with the dark bluish green hosta varieties.

Problems:
Leaf scorch can be a problem if soil is allowed to dry out.
