Eupatorium rugosum 'Chocolate'
Common Names: White Snakeroot

Description:
Also known as White Snakeroot was the 1998 Native Plant of the Year. Chocolate-tinted foliage on purple stems stands out in the garden and is much more refined and showy than the foliage of the straight species. Clusters of creamy white flowers reach 6" across in late summer and early fall. Average to moist soil and full to partial sun all suit Chocolate just fine. We use this with some of our shorter grasses.

Problems:
May take a while to become established.
