- Plant in spring, when the water has begun to warm up. Place the crown in a pot filled with heavy soil containing plenty of clay. The depth of planting under the water can be anywhere between 35 and 150 cm (14 and 60 in). - If the pond is sufficiently deep, the Nymphaea can be left in position over winter, with no protection. Otherwise, keep them in wet sand in a cold room. |
