- In a rich soil, don't forget to stake the larger varieties and, in particular, A. filipendulina. - Where possible, plant in spring, especially if your soil is wet and heavy. - With the exception of A. tomentosa, the Achilleas are very hardy. Nevertheless, they do require a healthy well-drained soil. |
