Hemerocallis hybrid 'Moontraveler'
Common Names: Day Lily

Description:
This splendid 1983 hybrid (H. 'Stella D'Oro' x H. Suzie Wong') from the Saul Brothers in Atlanta is prized in that region, but little-known in the rest of the US. From the same cross that produced H. 'Happy Returns', H. 'Moontraveler' produces flowers that are much more ruffled and held much higher above the foliage, along with a phenomenal production of bloom spikes. The 2" wide lemon yellow flowers are produced in abundance atop 18" stems from midsummer through mid-October for us.

Recommendations:
- Best planted in spring in good, ordinary soil on sunny slopes.

- Every three years, divide any clumps which have become invasive in spring.
